Some Dreams are Stupid – Maddow Said It Better

Last month, I wrote Bullish Life: Some Dreams Are Stupid on TheGloss.

I stand by my remarks and have been gratified by the response to the piece.

But it has also come to my attention (thanks, Andrés) that Rachel Maddow, who is more awesome than me in basically every way, said this much more dramatically.

“Carry Nation got what she wanted against the odds — a product of her hard work — it’s not meant to be inspiring. It’s meant to worry you.”
